Happy Hanukkah (or is it Chanukah)

Oy! is it Hanukkah already? Yes it is, Yay! To celebrate I have written a Hanukkah poem for you all.

The light from the Menorah
creates oh such an aura
so lets read from the torah
while on latkes we dine
and drink Manischewitz wine
"Save a glass for me!"
cried Judah Maccabee
as he saved Jerusalem for all time

We can spin our dreidel
all over the table
while we hear of the fables
of that long burning oil
When "gimmel" was shouted
Nobody doubted
that to the victor goes the spoils
I did oblige and
gave you my chocolate in the gold foil

Happy Hanukkah!!!

The Demo Fan

Dear Loyal readers, thank you for sticking with me. I have been fairly busy of late with both work and job hunting... and you know the whole laziness thing. But I'm back so don't worry.

No I haven't forgotten about Marty Stinestein. I realized that Fallout 3 gives the player a great world to play in, but the quests themselves don't thrill me as much as just exploring that world. So Marty has taken on the role of a photojournalist, telling stories about the wasteland with his pictures. Right now he is en route to Tenpenny Towers with a brief stop at the Robco museum. I should have a post about his latest adventure up soon (if you still care about him).

As for the title of this post, I have been played some great demos recently that are worth mentioning. The first is the obvious choice to discuss... Left 4 Dead Too (also known as Left 4 Dead 2 or Left 5 Dead). The demo, which only features the campaign mode versions of the first 2 maps of The Parish campaign, feels similar to Left 4 Dead (which is a good thing in my opinion). The new boss infected seem interesting (though I'd love to know how they handle themselves in a finale), some of the melee weapons like the guitar and machete are a lot of fun to handle, and the magnum pistol is fantastic. But ultimately this demo leaves me wanting more (like the rest of the campaign). I trust Valve so I don't doubt that the new game will be better than the first Left 4 Dead, but we'll need to wait until the full version of the game is out to see exactly how different the Left 4 Dead too Experience will be.

The second demo I want to talk about is for a little game called Torchlight. The game is essentially a remake of Diablo (or so I'm told as I've never actually played Diablo). It lets you chose a character that can either be an alchemist (wizard), destroyer(fighter), or vanquisher (ranger). I created an alchemist named Niels Bohr and began by going into a mine with my pet cat, and we began killing the baddies by furiously clicking on them. It is a simple game but seems to be a lot of fun. Screenshots are below, the free demo is at the very least worth playing, the full game is $20 and provides over 30 levels (dungeons) of clicking on enemies and watching numbers pop up over their heads.

Well, I guess this leather armor will have to do instead of a labcoat

Why I'm Not Playing Fallout 3 Right Now

As you will probably notice "The Continued Story of Marty Stinestein" has not been updated in a while. The reason for this is simply that I have not been playing Fallout 3. Below I've made a list (in no particular order) of the reasons why I haven't been playing Fallout 3. Please note that this list is in no way meant to discredit Bethesda Softworks who made an excellent game and my problems with the game are merely my own personal hang-ups.

1)
Fallout 3 is Huge- there is a lot that you can do in Fallout 3 and the thought that I could easily spend 80-100 hours exploring the wasteland , and also that fact that I will probably miss something (or several things) that are really cool makes me hesitant to play it.

2) Orienteering- While questing I focus on my compass and map and arriving at the next spot on a quest line more than the actual purpose for my travels. This makes quests seem trivial and takes a lot of the emotion out of playing.

3) Metro Stations- In a similar vein to point number 2, navigating the metro stations is difficult (due to the large population of ghouls) but also the number of caverns and hallways that lead away from where I'm trying to go. While its true that I'm not great at navigating I tend to end up back where I started a lot more often than I would want.

4) Lack of Ammo- Ammo is not that plentiful in the world and traders are few and far between. Though this is not bad in and of itself, it is complicated by the high cost of ammo from the traders and the number of hits required to kill an enemy (which can be quite a lot). The VATS system also thinks that you are made of bullets and will fire a burst from a semi-automatic or automatic weapon when you choose to shoot an enemy once.

5) Weight in Pack- While I think that a weight limit in your inventory is reasonable and helps to make the experience more realistic, I often find myself becoming over encumbered because I wary to get rid of something that may be useful later. I also suppose that part of the problem is that I don't know what is useful/ worth money.

6) Broken Housebot- My housebot in Megaton, Wadsworth, is as far as I'm concerned broken. The joke emitter takes a fairly long time to recharge, and I fear that his condensation emitter will be recharging infinitely, dashing my hopes for free purified water.

8) NPCs Don't Acknowledge My Fashion Sense- Marty has an impeccable fashion sense and loves to wear fancy suits in business districts and his lab coat in the various laboratories. He tries really hard to look good (and in my opinion succeeds) yet the other characters don't seem to notice or give him complements.

Ok, that last one was kind of a joke. Some of these issues are fixable with mods and Fallout 3 is not a lost cause for me as I will return to this game sometime soon. I am also occupied with several other games including: Opposing Force, Shadow Complex (Xbox 360), and Trine.

The Continued Story of Marty Stinestein- Part 2: Its Business Time

Note: This post does not contain any plot spoilers from any side quests or main quests. Though throughout this series some of the consequences of stupid actions in Fallout 3 will be revealed.

After a week of exploring the wasteland, Marty has become a successful businessman owning TWO fancy suits, a fedora hat, a nice multilevel home (with no toilet), and... his own ROBOT BUTLER. Unfortunately, his new employers did not like the rugged adventure look. To please his boss, he got a slick new haircut and shaved his beard (he kept his mustache). Now, lets see a snapshot of Marty's life and learn what happens when you piss off your robot butler (Spoiler Alert: it doesn't end well).

Marty wakes after a restful night's sleep and is almost ready to face the world.

Marty heads downstairs and asks his robot butler, Wadsworth, to tell him a joke so he can start his day off on the right foot. Wadsworth responds that his joke emitters need to recharge which angers Marty.

Next Marty heads to his locker so he can get dressed for work.

Look how stylish Marty looks in his suit and hat.

Marty draws his assault rifle to take care of some unfinished business. "What do you mean your joke emitter needs to recharge, how hard is it to tell a joke?... Oy!"

It doesn't end well.

So, this week we learned that it is not a good idea to attack your robot butler (even if you think he deserved it).

Shalom, and tune in next week for... The Continued Story of Marty Stinestein- Part 3 where we will find out what happens when you, uh?... do something. I'll tell you what, if you have any ideas for what Marty should explore next submit it in the comments.

Video Game Violence and the Link to Actual Violence with "Scientific Evidence"

Via Kotaku I just watched an episode of Penn & Teller's BullSh*t outlining the problem of video game violence and discussing the link to real violence. Now (as it is easy to tell by reading this blog) I am a gamer and do tend to play violent video games so I don't think there is much of a link between fantasy violence and real violence (at least among emotionally stable adults). Yet some individuals that I know have big problems with this stating that a) Violent video games will make an individual more violent and b) gaming is a socially isolating experience. If you know anyone like this I recommend that they watch this show.

I will concede that playing too many video games violent or otherwise is bad (after all too much of anything is bad). Playing too many games can lead to repetitive motion injuries (ie. Carpal tunnel syndrome), eye strain, and in the long run the sedentary lifestyle associated with gaming can lead to obesity. But gaming alone does not make kids more violent. Most (not all) kids learn the difference between right and wrong, and fantasy and reality at an early age. If they can make this distinction, acts of "simulated violence" shouldn't lead to real violence.

The program feaures Jack Thompson and other anti-video game activists who give there two cents as to why they feel that video games are destroying today's youth (which is fairly entertaining on its own merit because of how ill informed these people are), but also features the views of gamers, researchers, and others that don't feel that video games are infecting today's youth. Oh, and they also let a 9 year-old gamer fire an AR-15 assault rifle (can you guess what happens?). So I encourage you to watch this show which has been embedded in three parts below. Though I feel that I need to mention (and I know I'm not the first to say this but...) that it is up to parents to pay attention to there kids (and the games/ amount of time they play), not government regulations.

Also, as a scientist I feel obligated to point out that correlation doesn't equal causality. No Jack Thompson there is not a "CAUSAL LINK" between "teens playing violent video games and increased aggression by teens" (the word you may be looking for is "correlation" assuming that a "substantial body of...evidence" actually exists).

Introducing Marty Stinestein

I bought Fallout 3 during Steam's half-off sale and began playing with my character Marty Stinestein last night (the first name Gordan goes over the character limit).

He specializes in barter, science, and energy weapons. I'm really bad a picking skills for this type of game so I'm sort of going to have to learn as I go. I have a feeling this game will be quite fun, though I don't like how your personal vendettas against livestock get the whole town on your case...sheesh who would have thought cows were sacred in post apocalyptic Washington DC. Anyway...without further adeu.... here's Marty!

Marty sits and ponders something

Marty may have a big nose but hes got a heart of gold...wait, what?

Marty bonds with his new friend who proceeds to call him a wanker and walks away...how rude!

News! Fallout 3, Left 4 Dead DLC, and USB Microwaves!

1.) Steam's Weekend deal is Fallout 3! Originally priced at $50, it will be $25 until midday Monday July 6. I've heard that this is a great game and this may be a great opportunity to purchase it if you (like me) are a little on the fence about buying Fallout 3. See Chris Livingston's 1fort.com and Pentadact's "Fallout Girl" for some great storytelling in Fallout 3.

2.) In a recent interview with Computer and Video Games. com Doug Lombardi of VALVe (best Games Developer EVAR FTW) announced plans to announce(confusing right) a new DLC pack for Left 4 Dead by the end of the summer. Lombardi's world are below:

"We plan to keep supporting Left 4 Dead 1. There will be some announcements coming before summer's out about what's coming there, and then we haven't shown everything that's in Left 4 Dead 2 yet."

Hopefully
the new DLC includes some of the features announced in Left 4 Dead Too (melee combat for example). Though I really do believe that L4D Too is offering a great new experience (after all, the second half of that quote mentions that there are still plenty of new features in L4D Too that haven't been announced). (Story seen via Kotaku)

3.) This last story as seen on Gizmodo.com (follow the link to see the Beanzawave in action) Heinz is currently developing a small desktop microwave called the Beanzawave. It is powered by rechargable batteries and presumably will also be powered via USB. I can image this being used as an excuse by large corporations to cut lunch breaks ("What do you need a break for, you can make Beanz at your desk?" MI rite) or for some gamers simply too busy to go to their kitchen to make their beans and hotpockets. This invention is sure to revolutionize desktop eating for years to come.

Happy Fourth of July ol chaps!

Shalom

Trine Demo: Looks Cool and is fun

Last knight night I played the demo for the game Trine on Steam. Trine is a 2D side-scrolling action, puzzle platforming game with beautifully rendered 3D worlds and full physics modeling. The game features 3 characters (a thief, a wizard, and a knight) will unique abilities that must be used in tandum to solve various puzzles and kill various baddies. It seems like it also allows you to level up your characters and gain more skills and weapons.

This screenshot was from the Steam listing for the game and is not mine, but that snake dragon thing looks cool right?

The demo is 400 Mb (ish) and is free on Steam (follow the above link). The full game is going to be released in early July and will cost $30 on Steam. There are 15 levels in the full games hopefully that amounts to enough playtime to justify that price tag 'cause the demo was a lot of fun and I'm sure the full game will be as well.

Update: Trine was released on July 2 on Steam for $30 and will shortly be released on the PS3's PSN for $20. As for me, I'll probably wait until the price on PC drops a bit.

VALVe Ruins Left 4 Dead and the World

So, via Chris Livingston's Twittter (via Rock Paper Shotgun) I have learned that VALVe (creator of the greatest games ever) is working on a sequel to the best game ever (also known as Left 4 Dead) creatively called Left 4 Dead 2 -though I really hope they change it to Left 4 Dead Too as this game features an all new cast of characters and this title would help to capture the fact that like Francis, Bill, Zoey, and Louis, these new characters (brace yourself for a bad pun in 3, 2, 1...) were left for dead too.

The new game is set to take place in the southern united states with 4 new characters (Coach, Rochelle, Ellis, and the new Francis... Nick) and 5 new campaigns. There are also some new special infected such as the charger and a modification to our old friend the witch that allows her to roam around during the day. There seem to be a lot of other great improvements such as randomization of some map elements (other than health, weapons, and AI), something called the gauntlet that seems to suggest a chase scene element, and finally crescendo events that require a "checkpoint" to be reached before the waves of zombies stop coming. Oh, yeah, there will also be melee weapons (frying pans, baseball bats, and chainsaws), incendiary rounds, and new guns.

This all sounds great right, so why does the title of this post seem so angry? Well I'll tell you. For starters VALVe in a very un-Valvelike move have already announced the release date for this game and in another unvalvelike move its not Third Quarter of 2025 its a lot sooner its November 17th, 2009 (this still sounds like good news doesn't it?). This means the end of VALVe time if this is released a year after the first game was released, if we can't complain about how long it takes Valve to make games what else do we have to complain about(sure we are still waiting on HL2 episode 3 and the inevitable Portal sequel... but still)? And... if they are releasing it so soon it will probably suck, right? I am also kind of miffed because I had hoped they would just add new official campaigns and content to the original L4D.

All raging aside my biggest fear is that it will in all likelihood be great-and better than the original, I'll probably have to preorder it and begin playing it the second it is unlocked-whereby my mind will be blown and I will spend all my time playing it and lose my job and end any chance I have at a normal life. On the plus side I'll be really good at killing zombies.

When I saw the RPS article I was hoping it was a joke or a creative way of announcing a new mod or DLC for L4D unfortuately this is not the case as several other sites (including an official press release on the Steam News page) are also reporting information on this game. I hope that they at least give a discount to people who own the first L4D since it does feel a little expansion pack-ish. I also should tell Gabe Newell to Change the title to Left 4 Dead Too (or maybe Left 4 Dead, Too? because that would be great, and actually make sense!!1

A Zombie Has Eaten Your Brains... Is this Awesome (Y/N)

I'm going to be honest here, I talk about zombies on this blog a lot-maybe a bit too much. So without further adieu, I bring you... another post about zombies! Yay!!!!11111111

In addition to playing Left 4 Dead, I have also been reading Robert Kirkman's fantastic comic book series The Walking Dead and Max Brooks' novel World War Z. I find this type of fiction fascinating because it delves deep into the human psyche and shows how the characters are coping with the trauma that they are facing. Good zombie fiction isn't really about the zombies its about the people. Also, zombie fiction serves as a way of preparing us for the zombie apocalypse that awaits us.

If Left 4 Dead has taught me anything it is that I will probably not do too well when the apocalypse comes (statistics show with a high probability that in the event of zombie apocalypse I will fall off of a ledge and break my legs or get attacked from my back-right side). That being said, the time is now to stock up on essential supplies. The folks at coolmaterials.com have made a list of "Essential Gear to Survive a Zombie Attack"(note: some images may be slightly on the NSFW side). Highlights include a titanium cricket bat, a ballistic groin protector (you can never be too careful), a neck protector, a survival hatchet, and more. I would probably add a thick leather jacket and heavy jeans to the list (guns will probably be available at an abandoned military outpost). Or we could just plant some zombie killing plants in our gardens.

I recently played the demo for PopCap's new tower defense game (or more like flower defense game... am I right?) Plants vs. Zombies (alternate title: Lawn of the Dead) and it is an absolutley wonderful little game. Its available for $10 USD on Steam and is apparently worth every penny. According to gaming jouralist and all around good guy, Tom Francis, the minigame I, Zombie and the survival mode are incredibly addicting. I would highly recommend playing the demo.

In other tower defense game news, the game Defense Grid: The Awakening is 75% off until May 13th ($5 USD). A demo is available on steam. I played it and its pretty cool (though I utterly suck at buiding mazes).

Shalom!

Left 4 Videos Volume 2

Here is another batch of Left 4 Dead themed videos.

Our first video is a follow-up to my favorite L4D video (What Happens When Louis Gets His Peels) which begs the ever important question of what happens when Bill gets his pills.

The second video explains why everyone hates Francis (or maybe its because we all wish we loved vests as much as he does?)...On second thought, NO.

The final feature on tonight's schedule is a cartoon inspired by Left 4 Dead. It is fairly vulgar so watch at your own risk, but it is somewhat humorous and accurate in its portrayal of Francis.

For videos featuring players whining or doing dumb things see Unreality magazine's 10 Humorous Left 4 Dead Videos. Warning: This videos may be painful to watch. The Half-Life Jew Inc. and its subsidiaries assume no responsibility for any injuries sustained while viewing them.

If you know of any other good Left 4 Dead videos please mention them in the comments section.

In other news, over at the official Left 4 Dead blog there is a post (from last week) about the process used in designing the box art. The post gave great insight into what is required to make a box that stands out from the crowd-plus there are pictures!

And Yet it Moves

And Yet it Moves is an indie game with a unique art style that requires platforming and the manipulation of your environment in order to solve puzzles. Sound familiar? While the description I provided bears a striking similarity to that of Braid (or a vast number of other indie games for that matter), I assure you that this game is special.

You play as a man who is merely a drawing on a piece of paper, yet you have the remarkable ability to navigate a beautiful world composed entirely of bits of paper. The game gives you 2 sets of controls-one for moving yourself, and a second for rotating the world. This rotation mechanic is required to complete the puzzles. Although this is not very difficult there is loose debris that will also rotate when you rotate the world and will try to crush you, thus making navigation more difficult. Additionally, moving these loose objects is sometimes required in order to remove an obstacle blocking your way.

To sum up physics + puzzles + platforming +paper environments+ monkeys= amazing game (demo). Oh, I forgot to mention there are monkeys sorry about that. I have only played the demo but assume that the full game is even better. The full game will include 16 levels in 3 environments and will be released April 2 on Steam (If you pre-purchase now you can save 10%). I'm not sure that I'll buy this one right away but I think its a great game none the less.

CHOPPED!!!!111111

Don't forget to watch Chopped tonight (Tuesday) at 10 PM Eastern time. Its sure to be intense and exciting. If you are in the US this week you should watch it.

Videos 4 Dead

Because of some strange holiday called "Spring Break" I won't be playing a lot of Left 4 Dead this week. I've been playing a little World of Goo (which is great fun) but doesn't really give me my zombie fix. These two videos should ease some of the pain of Zombie withdrawal.

Epic Left 4 Dead Action

On Tuesday night my gaming group and I had an epic 6 1/2 hour play through of No Mercy on Expert. Half of this time was spent on the finally alone. That night I went through the full range of emotions- I, laughed, I cried (only a little), I was scared and finally I was relieved to get out of that hell hole and reach safety. Unfortunately, one of my friends had to leave and we were left to complete the finally with two AI characters (Francis and Zoey). Though we thought it was hopeless, decided to try anyway and guess what... it actually worked. I will attempt to explain what happened using the thoughts of the characters (in italics), spoken lines, stage notes/narration (bold) and screenshots taken after the fact. Enjoy the story!

Setting the stage: It is just before dawn on a stormy night and the survivors are tired and a bit shell shocked from a long night of fighting and after Zoey's lobotomy they didn't think there was much hope... still, in these times, a little hope was enough. After all they could give up and die as cowards or fight like hell and die as heroes. They chose the latter. We open this scene in the radio room on the roof top.

Louis:
[answers the radio signally the nice man in the news chopper that goes around rescuing people to come and rescue them] "Hello? Nice man in the news chopper that goes around rescuing people? Sup dude, we aren't infected and want you to pick us up"

Nice Man in the news chopper: "Yeah dog I'll be there soon call me back in a minute I'm a little busy makin' some dinner. Oh and by the way when you call back again a whole bunch of zombies will come after you because it makes the your life more intense. K bye"

Louis and Bill: Man I really don't want to die. I hope we don't screw up and die because we've been fighting for a really long time.

Zoey and Francis:
Well I really don't know what to do so I'll stand in your line of fire

Zombie 1: ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR [So begins the terror. The survivors decide to hold out in the radio room with automatic shotguns and make it through the first wave of zombies]

Zombie #1 is angry (and hungry for brains)

Louis and Bill: Wow! were really doing it. Die zombie scum. Click Bang! Boom headshot! lets stay alive.

Nice Man in the news chopper:
"Hey I'll be there in like 10 min and oh by the way a Tank is coming soon"
Louis and Bill: Tank! Ok we need to run up on the roof of the radio building and then start kiting the Tank around the hospital roof and turn occasionally to shoot it. Hey this is working pretty well. Whoa he almost got me... ok I'm still alive. Hooray its dead run back to the radio room. [The tank dies but Zoey are Francis weren't as lucky as Bill and Louis one can only imagine there dying thoughts.

Zoey:
Ooohh, shiny is that a quarter over there. Maybe I'll go and look...UUUGggggghh [Dies]

Francis: Man I wish I had a new vest. I really like vests, you could see I love thee... [Dies]

Louis: "Bill lets get into this closet and melee like there is no tomorrow... because there isn't if we die"

Salvation, in closet form

Bill: "Ok I'm getting in... Ow don't hit me zombie bastard...ok i'm in." [quickly decides to heal without telling anyone but somehow both survivors survive the attack. Even some boomers decide to puke on them but they both live and have ample health]

Nice Man in the news chopper: "Hey I'm almost there but a second tank will spawn before I get there"

Louis and Bill: "Run!" I guess we'll use the same strategy as before, yeah good its working, I think its almost dead.

Louis: "Bill, run and don't look back, he's right behind you. Keep running!" [Bill keeps running but eventually Louis gets knocked down... but have no fear because Bill is very close by.]

Bill:
"Get off my friend tank punk!" [Pumps tank full of lead and it dies before killing Louis. He quickly gets his friend up and they get on the helipad running towards where the chopper will land. They can hear it they know it is close]

Awww. They look kind of cute when there not trying to kill you.

Louis:
"Throw a pipe bomb" [They both throw pipe bombs at the same time for some reason but as the rescue vehicle opens its doors Louis has a siezure and falls off the helipad]

Bill:
I gotta get in there, I gotta get in, ok the doors just opened. JUMP! I made it come on Louis [He didn't notice that Louis had fallen, but luckily Louis wasn't injured and made it on the rescue chopper, they all lived happily ever after the end... until the next time that they have to escape from another zombie infested town.]

A Life Well Wasted

I just finished listening to the second episode of Robert Ashley's A Life Well Wasted podcast (though as he says it is more of an internet radio show). In this episode he discussed the collecting and preservation of video games (and pinball machines). The interviews were insightful and paint a vivid picture of what goes on inside a collector's head. Also, this episode seems to plea that things that are here today are quickly forgotten tomorrow.

This podcast and the first episode (on the Death of EGM) can be found here (also available on iTunes). Download it now! Even if you don't think you'll enjoy it it may surprise you... and tell your friends too.

Jews in the News

This first installment of Jews in the News focuses on the horrible and disturbing issue of the Holocaust. From 1933-1945 the Nazis callously murdered over 6 million Jews as well as millions of individuals from other ethnic and minority groups. This was an event so horrible that it is still the cause of fear today.

Via Kotaku comes the story of Rabbi Micah Kelber who overcame his fear of Nazis by playing Call of Duty: World at War. This game gave him the ability to face the Nazis in a safe environment. Additionally, the moral choices provided by the game "help make war a more 'visceral experience' for Jews". Rabbi Kelber used to have nightmares about Nazis, though he still has dreams about Nazis, they no longer scare him.

Although I have not played this game, I would like to give Treyarch and Activision the Half-Life Jew Seal of Approval for making a game that is such a big help to the Jewish community.

In related Jew News, Art Spiegelman's graphic novel Maus was named the 4th best graphic novel in Time Magazine's Top Ten Graphic Novels. Maus is based on the true story of Art Speigelman's father's experiences in a concentration camp.

If Gordon Freeman was Jewish...

When I was thinking about ideas for this site, I thought that Gordon Freeman was Jewish and wanted to design a site around that. It seemed like a logical conclusion for the following reasons:

1.) Many surnames traditionally associated with Judaism end in -stein, -berg, or -man.
2.)He is ruggedly handsome, and incredibly brilliant (he was a theoretical physicist at Black Mesa, after all)
3.) He single-handedly defeated the Combine forces using the teachings of the Torah a crowbar (sorry, I got a little carried away).

Unfortunately, after looking at the Wikipedia entry for Freeman I learned that he probably isn't Jewish (the name Freeman literally means "free man"). Although this saddened my it also got me thinking, what if Gordon Freeman was Jewish?

To start constructing this picture, I think that the first thing he would need is an obviously Jewish surname like Freestein or Freeberg, or Steinstein. I think Gordon Steinstein has a nice ring to it.
Also, replacing the lambda symbol on the HEV suit with a Star of David (see image below) shows the citizens of City 17 that Steinstein doesn't mess around. Other than these two changes I guess he would be the same as Gordon Freeman

Gordan Steinstein

I think that it would be great if game developers (like Valve) had powerful Jews as the protagonists of there games. Also, Valve, if you are looking to do a spin-off of the Half-Life series with a Jewish protagonist feel free to use the name Steinstein (you know you want to).

If anyone knows of any games with a Jewish protagonist (or any other games that would be improved if the protagonist was Jewish) feel free to mention them in the comments section.

Shalom

Welcome

Thanks for visiting this blog. This is definitely a work in progress at the moment but I hope that this will be a worthwhile place to visit in the near future. I have some ideas for where I want this site to go, so lets see how they work out.
I encourage you to comment on any of my posts. Also feel free to include any ideas you may have to make this a better site. Shalom.
